charity support

Why do you support charities?

It has always been important to me to  give back, to help the community whether that is local or global.  I don't want to help just one cause, I want to help many. That's why a small percentage of my profits from my prints and cards will go towards different charities. I don't want to specify exact numbers because sometimes, I might donate more. It will always be a minimum of 5% and every different collection will help a different cause. If you would like me to design something to sell for your charity then please, get in touch.

How does it work?

Each of my different collections supports a different charity. Once year, around March/April I will donate the amount from the sales of each collection to the various charities they support. It is easier to make the donations in one go rather than do them all year round. Sometimes donations might be really small, sometimes they might be big - it depends on sales.

Who do you support?

It is important to note that these are not official partnerships with any charity - they are charities I donate some of my proceeds to. The charities I support are below along with reasons why. When I have the amounts donated to them, I will add that in!

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity

In December 2019, my little brother was rushed to hospital with meningitus. His condition was so critical that doctors did not think he would make it. If it wasnt for the incredible staff, my brother wouldn't have made a full recovery. Whilst there, it was clear that patients like my brother are in desperate need of equipment like shower chairs to aid their recovery, so money raised will help patients like my brother because it makes a huge difference. 10% of  my 2019 Christmas Cards will be donated to this charity, as well as all the proceeds from my drawing "Lights in the Dark".  You can find out more about their work here

Centrepoint

I believe that every person should have the chance to have a future. This charity aims to do just that, to give young, homeless people a future. I was privileged to be given every opportunity growing up, and so I want to support others who don't have the same opportunities that I was so fortunate to have. 5% of the sales from my Rainbow Collection will be donated to this charity. Crisis

2020 has been a crazy year for everyone - but some people who have been affected the most have been the homeless. Especially as we stay in our homes in lockdown 2, there are many people on the streets with nowhere to go. That's where Crisis comes in. They directly help thousands of homeless people every year to help them rebuild their lives and support them our of homelessness for good. 10% of the sales from my Christmas Cards in 2020 will be donated to this charity.
